MOORHEAD (KFGO) - The list of applicants for Moorhead city manager has been trimmed to four candidates. One finalist withdrew from the running. Fifty-one people applied. The names of the finalists were released Tuesday.
The candidates are:
Larry Kruse, most recently city administrator of Willmar, Minnesota and prior to that, city administrator of Thief River Falls.
Christina Volkers, an executive with the San Bernardino, California Superior Court.
Aaron Parrish, City Administrator in Forest Lake, Minnesota and former Crookston City Administrator.
Shawn Henessee, the Marinette County, Wisconsin administrator .
The city council has set aside 2 days for candidate interviews next month.
Mike Redlinger, Moorhead's last city manager resigned without explanation during a closed door city council meeting in April.
He was hired as Fargo's assistant city administrator in June.
