FARGO (KFGO) - Fargo police say they have been able to identify a man accused of kissing a 19 month girl and touching her 8-year old brother in the genitals at the playground at Lindenwood Park Monday evening.
Before walking away, the man said said several times he loved kids. Police conducted an extensive search of both Lindenwood Park and nearby Gooseberry Park last night but couldn't find the suspect. There appeared to be a language barrier.
Lt. Joel Vettel says a cell phone photo snapped at the scene id'd the man.
The case has been turned over to the Cass County States Attorney's office for misdemeanor sexual assault charges.
