WEST FARGO (KFGO) - Sources confirm that the longest-serving active member of the West Fargo Police Dept. has been placed on administrative leave, pending the outcome of an investigation by the ND Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Investigations Lt. Greg Warren joined the department as a patrol officer in 1975.

The move comes the week that the city is scheduled to begin interviews to replace former chief Mike Reitan who was fired earlier this year after 30 years with the department.

City Spokesperson Melissa Richard says Warren has been put on paid administrative leave.  He says the investigation was launched after a complaint was made against Warren.
