FERGUS FALLS, MINN. (KFGO)- A Richville, Minnesota man is facing a number of charges following an incident in Otter Tail County.
Chief Deputy Barry Fitzgibbons tells KFGO News, deputies responded to reports of a careless driver and gunfire coming from the vehicle as he drove down Highway 35 between Dent and Underwood around 1 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy located the vehicle south of Dent as it pulled into a driveway. As the deputy approached the vehicle, there was a gunshot. The deputy retreated to cover. The driver eventually got out and was arrested without incident. Fitzgibbons says there was no indication the driver fired at the deputy.
35-year old Cody Dahl is being held in the Otter Tail County Jail on various drunk driving charges, Assault, and dangerous weapon charges.
