GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - An 86-year-old Grand Forks man has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of possessing child pornography.
Roger Whaley was arrested last November after police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He entered pleas Tuesday.
Each of the counts against Whaley carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison, but he'll likely receive much less jail time under an agreement he reached with prosecutors. He's to be sentenced next Jan. 11.
