Grand Forks, N.D. (KFGO) - The Grand Forks Police Department is looking for a suspect who fled an officer and led them on a short chase Monday night.
The police department says just after 11 p.m., an officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a speeding SUV when the vehicle fled. The officer pursued until they lost sight of the vehicle.
The police department says through an anonymous tip, they were able to locate the vehicle. Officers learned the vehicle had been stolen from a location in north Grand Forks.
They were unable to locate the suspect.
