WEST FARGO (KFGO) - An overheated bathroom ceiling fan is the cause of a fire in a second floor apartment at 123 Main Ave. E. in West Fargo.
The fire was reported at 5:30 a.m. Friday.
Fire Chief Dan Fuller says the burning fan dropped to the floor and there was smoke in the apartment when firefighters arrived on scene. They put out the fire quickly but there is heavy smoke damage.
Two residents were displaced.
