Cement truck rolls into river in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota) – A man was injured after rolling a cement mixer into the James River in southeast Jamestown late Fri. morning.

Emergency crews were called to a home after a driver attempting to back a cement mixer behind a home rolled when the riverbank gave way.

Police Sgt. Sid Mann said that crews were working to find a way to remove the truck from the river.

He says the fire dept. was on scene for hazmat control.  Cement leaked from the mixer.  Diesel fuel may have also leaked from the truck.
