Hannaford, N.D. (KFGO) - Two semi drivers were airlifted to separate hospitals after their rigs collided on a gravel road west of Hannaford, North Dakota late Tuesday afternoon.
The highway patrol says around 4:40 p.m., a semi, driven by 60-year-old Patrick Kraemer of McHenry, was westbound on a gravel road at the same time a semi, driven by 29-year-old Taylor Rose of Wimbledon, was eastbound. The patrol reports that "visibility was reduced due to calm conditions holding road dust in the air" and the semis "were unable to evade the crash."
Kraemer was flown to a Fargo hospital. Rose was flown to a Grand Forks hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
The crash, along with possible charges, remains under investigation.
