MOORHEAD (KFGO) - Kara Gloe won a seat on the Moorhed School Board in yesterday's election. She was one of 13 people seeking the one year term. The seat was vacated last year when Laurie Johnson stepped down after her family moved.
In Barnesville, incumbent Mayor Eugene Prim was re-elected, beating challenger Jason Rick, by a vote of 325 votes to 267.
In Dilworth, incumbent Jim Aasness and Steve Jesme were winners for two open seats on the city council. Jesme had served on the city council in the 1990's. There were five candidates running for the council. Jesme beat challenger John Giddings by just six votes.
