Grand Forks, N.D. (KFGO) - Over two and a half tons of french fries will be consumed tonight at the "World's Largest French Fry Feed" in Grand Forks.
The feed is part of the 51st Potato Bowl week activities.
In addition to free fries, the feed will feature live entertainment, meet and greet with UND football players and staff, french fry eating contest and find Potato Bowl Pete.
The event is at University Park is at 4:30 p.m.
Last year 5,220 pounds of fries were served beating the old record set in 2014 by 90 pounds.
The Potato Bowl football game featuring the UND Fighting Hawks vs the USD Coyotes. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.
