FARGO (KFGO) - An armed man involved in a standoff with Fargo Police has been arrested.  The man was taken into custody at around 1:30 P.M. Friday.

Police say it all began at around 8:45 A.M. Friday when the suspect showed up at the victim's location in the 2900-block of Broadway.  Deputy Police Chief Ross Renner says there was an argument and the suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim.

Renner says the victim fled the apartment and went to the suspect's residence in the 500-block of Forest Ave.  The suspect followed the victim, who was able to get away a second time.

Several officers, including the Red River Valley SWAT Team responded.  The circumstances leading up to the confrontation are under investigation.

No one was hurt.
