FARGO (KFGO) - An armed man involved in a standoff with Fargo Police has been arrested. The man was taken into custody at around 1:30 P.M. Friday.
Police say it all began at around 8:45 A.M. Friday when the suspect showed up at the victim's location in the 2900-block of Broadway. Deputy Police Chief Ross Renner says there was an argument and the suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim.
Renner says the victim fled the apartment and went to the suspect's residence in the 500-block of Forest Ave. The suspect followed the victim, who was able to get away a second time.
Several officers, including the Red River Valley SWAT Team responded. The circumstances leading up to the confrontation are under investigation.
No one was hurt.
