NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. - A man accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage student while teaching in New York Mills last year has been found not guilty.
An Otter Tail County jury acquitted 38-year-old Kris Koll of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, a charge that carries a maximum punishment of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
Defense attorney Anthony Bussa says his client is ''an innocent man who's wrongfully accused,'' and that Koll looks forward to restoring his reputation.
