FERGUS FALLS, MINN. (KFGO) - The body of a man reported missing from his cabin southeast of Battle Lake has been found.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office says the body of 89 year-old Thomas Allstop was discovered about 2 miles from his cabin on Lake Spitzer. The body was sent to the Medical Examiner's Office in St. Paul.
There were extensive searches for Allstop, who was considered vulnerable and suffered from short-term memory loss.
