VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota) – One of the largest wind farms in the state may be making a home in Barnes County.
In July, it was reported that Glacier Ridge Wind Farms would be looking to purchase up to 34,450 acres Northeast of Valley City for an 87 turbine wind farm. The PSC held a public hearing in Valley City on September 26th to hear comments and concerns from members of the public.
The Barnes County Planning & Zoning committee would be meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Barnes County Commission Chambers to discuss the $375 million project.
