FARGO (KFGO) - A Glyndon, Minnesota man was arrested Friday after a pursuit involving the North Dakota Highway Patrol and sheriff's deputies in two counties.
46-year Cory Stevens fled a state trooper who attempted to pull him over for weaving across I-29 south of Fargo.
He managed to avoid a tire deflation device as he headed south on Cass County roads. He then crossed into Minnesota and onto gravel roads in Clay and Wilkin Counties. Stevens was eventually knocked off a road by a Clay County deputy using a PIT Maneuver.
Stevens was arrested on several outstanding warrants and on charges in Clay County relating to the chase. Additional charges will be filed in Cass County including fleeing, driving under revocation, reckless driving and reckless endangerment.
