West Fargo, N.D. (KFGO) - An 8-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a car in West Fargo late Monday morning.
The West Fargo Police Department says a car was stopped at an intersection, waiting for a group of kids who were crossing the street. Once the group crossed, an adult chaperone waived the vehicle through, while another group waited.
Just as the vehicle started to move forward, the boy ran out in front of the car.
The police department says he was struck at a low rate of speed and had minor scrapes on his arms and legs.
The crash happened in the 300 block of 4th Ave E around 11:40 a.m.
