Truck driver charged in crash that killed teenager

FERGUS FALLS, MN (KFGO) - A truck driver from Wheaton, Minn. has been charged for causing a collision that killed a 16 year-old boy near Vining last april.

Jason Vadner, 35, is charged in the crash on Hwy. 210 that killed Jacob Quam, who was on his way to school in Henning. A state patrol investigation determined that Vadner, who was driving a bread truck, was going too fast for the conditions and crossed the centerline in dense fog.

Vadner has previous driving-related convictions in Traverse, Otter Tail, Becker and Clay counties.
